About Topsoe SOEC Plant

In 2023, we broke ground on our new factory at Haldor Topsøes Vej 2 in Herning, with production expected to begin in 2025. The factory will be the largest of its kind in the world and will have the capacity to produce electrolyzer technology with a capacity of 500 megawatts per year. This equates to the annual energy consumption of nearly one million Danish households—and there is potential for the factory to expand to 5 gigawatts, ten times more energy. To fuel the green transition, we need skilled and dedicated individuals for our new factory in Herning. We are looking for employees for various roles, ranging from engineers to operations staff, automation mechanics, and administrative positions. The electrolyzer factory will require electricians, process technologists, welders, industrial electricians, instrument technicians, and industrial operators.
