About H & S Westergaard A/S

H&S Westergaard A/S is an international company that exports piglets to most parts of Europe. The company is family-owned and was founded in 1965. It is based in Sunds, just north of Herning. From this location, we also operate the transport company Henrik Westergaard Transport ApS, which has a fleet of approximately 20 trucks. We own and operate Sevel Slagteri A/S, located near Holstebro, where we process sows for export and provide contract slaughter services for pigs and cattle on behalf of private customers. Our headquarters are located in Sunds, north of Herning, and in the spring of 2027 we will move into a new corporate headquarters. The company employs approximately 45 people in Sunds and 35 people at the slaughterhouse in Sevel.
