This workshop is for anyone who would like to immerse themselves in colors, patterns, and texture and learn the basic techniques of frame loom weaving.

You will learn how to set up a loom and work with wool yarn in various thicknesses and qualities. The workshop introduces simple weaving techniques and methods for creating structure in your woven piece.

You will be guided through changing yarns, creating neat finishes, and removing your work from the loom, so you can take home your very own wall hanging. No previous experience is required.

All materials are provided.

👨‍🏫 Your instructor

The workshop is taught by Sofie Scott Lundfos. Sofie works as a teacher in Ikast and has spent many years exploring creative projects. For the past 10 years, she has focused on weaving and creating her own textile wall pieces.
