Sing out, hum along or find your own way to join in!

How you sing doesn’t matter. What matters is singing together and enjoying the sense of community that grows when our voices come together. You don’t need any choir experience to join in.

Join us for two enjoyable hours at Scene 7, where we’ll sing in harmony and fill the room with music and energy. Our choir leader, Anders, will guide us through the evening so everyone can take part. During the break, we’ll enjoy snacks and have a chance to chat and meet new people.

Skrål is a collaboration between UngHerning+, Uddannelsesby Herning, Scene 7, Justerbart and HIFF. Together, we’re bringing young people from across Herning Municipality together for an evening of singing and community.

About the choir leader

Your choir leader is Anders, who was born and raised in Herning. His interest in music began early, when he sang in the boys’ and men’s choir at Herning Church. Since then, he has worked with contemporary music, taught singing and performed on stages in Denmark and abroad.

Anders spent 11 years as a singer in the vocal group Vox11 and also led the group during his final five years there. He has worked as a vocal coach for DR’s MGP and now teaches at Det Jyske Musikkonservatorium. He also writes his own music.

For this evening, Anders will draw on his wide experience to bring up to 150 young people together through singing and raise the roof at Scene 7. His greatest strength and motivation lie in bringing people together and creating a great atmosphere – and he looks forward to doing just that with you.
