Linocut for 18–25-year-olds
Do you love being creative? Then join this fantastic workshop where you’ll learn how to carve linoleum and print on different materials. You’ll go home with your own linocut stamp, so you can keep printing at home – as well as the beautiful artworks you create and a tote bag with your personal design on it.

THE INSTRUCTOR
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always loved being creative. I enjoy expressing myself through hands-on work and bringing ideas to life.
Growing up, I’ve painted, drawn, sewn, built furniture – and more recently, I’ve fallen in love with knitting, ceramics, and especially linocut printing.
There’s something magical about taking an idea from my head and turning it into a finished product.
But the best part? Being creative together with a group of amazing and inspiring people.

Workshop Schedule

September 9th
19:00–19:10: Brief intro to me and the course
19:10–19:20: Short introduction to different printing techniques
19:20–19:40: Creative warm-up exercise
19:40–20:20: Finding inspiration
20:20–20:30: Introduction to transferring your design to the linoleum block
20:30–21:00: Start carving the linoleum

September 16th
19:00–21:00: Continue carving your designs

September 23rd
19:00–20:00: Introduction and printing on watercolor paper
20:00–21:00: Introduction and printing on recycled magazine paper

September 30th
19:00–20:00: Introduction and printing on tote bags

This activity is offered by UngHerning+ and is open to all 18- to 25-year-olds in Herning Municipality.
