Do you love being creative and painting with big, expressive movements? In this art workshop you’ll have the chance to take part in a very special art project where we transform an empty room into one large collective artwork.

We will be painting an entire room in THE HOUSE on Nystedvej. Walls, door frames, ceilings, and maybe even furniture will become canvases where you can leave your personal mark. Together we’ll create a large artwork where everyone contributes with their own ideas, colors, and motifs.

The theme for the decoration is animals and plants, fitting into the common thread that already exists in the house. Each participant will have their own area in the room where you can develop your ideas and bring your sketches to life.

Along the way we will explore different painting techniques, color combinations, and ways of collaborating on a large artwork. It will be a creative community filled with good vibes, inspiring ideas, and plenty of room to experiment.

The project is inspired by artists and movements that have decorated entire spaces – including the COBRA artists, who famously decorated a summer house in Bregnerød in 1949.

THE HOUSE on Nystedvej

THE HOUSE is a villa located on UngHerning’s property on Nystedvej. Although the house has recently been renovated with white walls and ceilings, it still lacks life and personality.

That’s why a group of young people now have the unique opportunity to leave their mark on the house and help create an inspiring space for future activities and communities.

A previous group has already started decorating the living room together with the artist Malkedreng. Now it’s time to work on the entrance area and hallways, where you will help continue the project.

About the Instructor

The instructor Nanna is passionate about creating creative and inclusive communities where people can draw, paint, and inspire each other.

She has loved drawing since childhood and has been working with digital drawing since around 2007. Nanna is educated as a Graphic Storyteller from The Animation Workshop in Viborg.
