Do you love being creative and painting with big, expressive movements?
Then this is the class where things can’t get too big.
This is the second time we’re painting the house on Nystedvej – an art project beyond the ordinary – and the first round was a huge success. The living room was transformed from empty white surfaces into colorful, wild, and personal artworks, created by young people together.

Now we’re building on that success.

What will we be doing?
We’ll be painting an entire area of the house on Nystedvej, including:

• The entrance area
• The hallway
• The stairwell

All walls will be given new life. Together, we’ll transform a neutral space into one cohesive artwork, with room for experimentation, mistakes, laughter, and big ideas.

Along the way, we’ll work with:
Different painting techniques
Exciting color combinations
Collaboration and a shared visual expression

This is a true cozy, community-based class, where the process is just as important as the final result.

Your instructor
The instructor is Jeppe, also known by his artist name Malkedreng.
Jeppe is 21 years old and works at Hammerum Efterskole. He has been drawing since he learned how to hold a pencil – and in 2023, painting truly became his creative playground.

Jeppe loves experimenting with colors and creating works that make noise in just the right way.

The house on Nystedvej
The house on Nystedvej is a villa that belongs to UngHerning. It is on one level and has been (relatively) newly renovated with white walls and ceilings – but it still lacks soul, life, and edge.
In the autumn, a group of young adults put their personal mark on the living room, which is intended to function as an inspiring meeting place and creative refuge, with space for both cozy moments and working on creative projects.

Now it’s time to give new rooms the same wild and creative treatment.
