Are you missing the perfect lamp for your favourite cosy corner – in the right colour, shape and with a design that feels completely your own? In this course, you will get the chance to design and create your own lamp from the first idea to the finished result.

In the Makerspace, we will work with 3D printers, laser cutters, cutting plotters and the many other machines available. You can start from a basic model and customise it to make it your own – or take the project in a completely different direction if you have an idea you want to explore. We will experiment with shape, colour, materials and technical solutions while helping you develop a design that suits you.

You do not need any previous experience with machines, design or electronics. You will be guided throughout the process and get help turning your idea into something that can actually be built. The most important thing is that you are curious, willing to experiment and excited to create something with your own hands.

After four sessions, you can take home a lamp that does more than provide light – it will also carry your own design and personal touch.

Carina is passionate about creativity, community and sharing knowledge. She enjoys challenging familiar ways of thinking, testing new ideas and turning them into reality. In the course, she helps create a curious environment with room to experiment, learn and make things together.

Kennet Langballe Madsen

Kennet has many years of experience in the graphic and IT industries and is a passionate creative nerd. He brings technical curiosity, hands-on problem-solving and plenty of good humour to the course.
