Croquis Drawing:

Would you like to improve your figure drawing skills? In this croquis drawing course, you will learn to draw the human body from a live model - quickly, freely and without erasing. Through short sketches, we will focus on capturing the body's movement, proportions, form and energy.

Croquis means sketch, and these quick drawings are a great way to train your eye and develop your ability to observe and represent the human body. We will work with short poses lasting 1-5 minutes and experiment with different materials such as pencil, charcoal, ink and, potentially, colour.

You will be introduced to basic drawing techniques and receive individual feedback along the way. There will also be room to experiment and develop your own visual expression. The course is for young people who are curious about drawing, the human body and art, and no previous drawing experience is required.

The classes:

The classes take place at Herning Billedskole in spacious and bright studios. We create a safe and respectful environment where everyone can participate. You will draw from a professional nude model, and the sessions are conducted with respect for both the model and participants. Depending on the atmosphere, we may work quietly, listen to music or discuss drawing and techniques together.
